Bible in a year

Yes! Our church is having a program/challenge for us to finish reading the bible in a year. They planned out the number of verses to read each day and we'll put a check mark beside it as we accomplish it everyday. Read Matthew 1-9 today and realized there're so many powerful and uplifting verses in it.

Few of those that I love:

Matthew 5:16 Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
43"You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.'
44"But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
46"For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

Matthew 6: 25"For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?
27"And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?
33"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (Amen!)
34"So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
