Saw this comment on one of Patrick Teoh's post (niamah.blogspot.com) and i quote:

Caveman becomes law enforcers.

Uneducated morons becomes leaders.

Murderers becomes prime ministers.

Fuckers become contest for MCA.

Idiots becomes idols.

Niamah becomes a place to vent anger and frustration.

Sounds like ZAMAN Jahiliah The dark ages are sweeping soon

ThanksGiving Break

Woohoo! It's the time of the year again. Thanksgiving break! At Cortney's place now. There will only be one class tmr and after that it's break from Wednesday until Sunday! Will be going to Jacob's grandparents house at Kansas to experience some American culture. From Wednesday till Friday.

Anyway, I am really grateful to have been here in Stillwater. This semester, God has truly shown me His way and i've grown closer and stronger in Him. I've learn to put Him first in my life and trust that He is in control of everything. Thank God for my family and friends who have kept me accompanied. Thank God for bringing me to the Chinese Church which i learn to serve Him and knew many brothers and sisters who loved me so dearly. Although i'm far from home, God has kept me near to my family in heart. God is good, all the time.. And all the time, God is good.

Will continue to put God as my top priority and always pray to Him. :) A meaningful lyrics:

What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bears,
What a privilege to carry,
everything to God in prayer.
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry,
Everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he'll take and shield thee;
thou wilt find a solace there.

Amen!

Robot! :)

If you have talked to me recently, you probably know that i've been really busy with my ROBOT! Yes!! Robot.. We're building a robot for our class from SCRATCH! from aluminum sheet, aluminum bars, plastics and stuff we just make everything, design it, and build it! :)
The competition was yesterday(sunday) and it lasted from 230 pm to 630pm. It's a triple eliminations means that each team have got to lose 3 times in order to be eliminated. There 're around 14 teams competing.
The rules: There are 3 balls placed on the divider ; a bowling ball and 2 billiard balls. At the end of 90 seconds, the team with most balls on their side, loses. Also, the plane of the divider extends infinity. :)
A few look at our machine:
"The Scorpion" with it's extendable arm..
"The Scorpion"
Bad A** machine
Our team, the judge, Kevin Moore and our professor, Dr Delahoussaye

The 2 finalist team..

Okay! So this is how it went:

I'm the controller throughout the competition, and as the pictures shows, we got to the final. We won 5 matches against 4 machines in a row which made us the winner of all. (undefeated yet) Then we rested for 2 hours while other machines fight among themselve and another 2 machinese emerged among them. Both the machines have lost twice (one of them beaten by us twice).

We're pretty much the top 3 by now. So we went head on with the other team (not the one we beaten twice) and we won!! So they 're eliminated. Once again, we're up against the same machine we've beaten twice. We only have to beat them one more time to get the championship while they got to beat us 3 times IN A ROW. We lost all 3 in the row!!! Can you believe it? I almost could not trust what i see.. Was so disappointed but thought we did pretty good given that we're only hoping to get past the first round. :P We're then invited to OSU Tulsa to compete with their machine on thursday. Will see how that goes...

After that was exhausted but was asked to go to Cortney's house for dinner. Ended up with karaoke until 1230 pm on a Sunday, the day before my Thermodynamics II Midterm 2!!! But well, managed to study just enough for the test and guess i did pretty well on it. So no worriies mom and dad! :)

I'm glad i am finally out of the lab working on our machine. However, lots of tests, homeworks and another project (analyzing OSU Power Plant) coming up! :( Pray for strength in me thru my "daddy" from heaven.

p/s check out videos of all the matches on facebook! :)

Haley

Introduced to me by my buddy, Jacob. Beautiful song and lyrics..

Haley
If you don't know just how you feel,
Don't say hose sweet things That you know I'd wanna hear
If you don't know just what to think,
Then put your thoughts awayAnd keep them out of reach

Haley don't hurt me If you don't know
I could have moved on a long time ago
You're undecided, your eyes do show
Haley don't hurt me if you don't know
If you don't know just where we are
Then slowly step away before we get too far
If you don't know just where you stand
Don't brace a fall that you may never want to land

Haley don't hurt me if you don't know
I could have moved on a long time ago
You're undecided, your eyes do show
Haley don't hurt me if you don't know

We're on and off again
It's more than I can stand
So let me know if you're for real this time
Your voice, it shook again
Reminded me of when
We talked our way into the end

Six Flags

Just came back from Six Flags and we totally dominated it !!!

We went for most of the huge roller coasters there! Had so much fun. Will be posting up photos and videos soon since i'm pretty much back to homework now. A brief summary of how we put Six Flags over Texas to shame :

Titan - rode 3 times
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPS25WItiZ0

Batman- twice
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ib6OxyWJ6M

Texas Giant - twice (This ride hurts/shakes like crazy but still fun thou) - voted the best wooden roller coaster in the world
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBfsvDS5Ysw

Mr Freeze - twice -voted the coolest roller coaster
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DY0QV5qIydY

Shock wave - once - world's first double loop (continuous) roller coaster
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DEoivHAGkog

Judge Roy Scream- once
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2So_zou5gZs

Dive Bomber Alley - (additional fee of 21 bucks but it's the climax of the day!! craziest thing i've ever done!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWwPJgvOmv8 (start from 3.00 minute)

&
a few other rides which I dont really remember but these are the main ones..

It was cooling the entire day (about 10 C) and we rode from 10am to 10pm. The experience of riding in the day and in the night was totally different. So much more awesome when you cant see anything but lights at night. Also riding on the first seat and the last was different too! I would recommend trying both because it gives you complete feel of it when you do that.. :) Great day!

Worship!

Exciting exciting!! Tomorrow i'll be leading a song of worship at the Chinese Church Friday Fellowship ! I'll be singing "How can i keep from singing" by Chris Tomlin. I've always wanted to lead worship since i learned guitar and to finally be able to step up and serve God is great!! Hopefully everything will go great but the most important thing is to bring honor to God himself. Whether i sang great or not, spirit and the truth in worshiping him is what He seeks (John 4:23-24)

Last week our church had Mid-Autumn festival celebration. I was part of the welcoming skit (played a rich brat who can get anything he wants but still have a vacancy in his heart because he do not have God) It was a great time spend with fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. After it ends, we had a surprise party for Stephanie Jeng whom is an exchange student from Taiwan. She's only 17 years old and already away from home! She definitely misses home very much!! She's staying with a host family now. Although might be lonely, she know that she have us (bro and sister) for her! She was shocked and touched by the surprise birthday cake! :) It's funny to see her reaction. It's priceless... Also, it's good to finally see someone studying here who is younger than me.
Surprise!!
The rich brat (s) LOL
If you've my faceobook, you've probably seen this picture (it's my profile pic now) She's 乐乐 or Senta.. American born chinese? Or maybe moved here when she's really young. Anyway, she speaks with American accent. She's just so cute and pretty! And for now since i'm single, she'll be my little girlfriend! Shhh.. :P

Aha! Finally decided to remove all our rented furniture and bought our own. Bought this desk for about 100 USD while gotten a used mattress from one of our sister from church. My room is looking good.. :)

Greatest commandment indeed..
A peep into the new layout of my room..

Cortney's favorite verse

New mug too! Good color choice Cortney.. haha!

Tomorrow is fall break means there wont be any classes! Will be going to Arlington, TX for Six Flags on saturday and will be back on Sunday ! It will be fun!! Wooohooo...! A few roller coasters that i'll be conquering will be these:

Went to watch Grambling State VS OSU game the other day! Record attendance of 56,000 people! Go cowboys! Went to New China (Chinese buffet) for dinner after that.

Few weeks ago, our church had a communion service. This is the first time in 20 over years they've ever done it during the morning service when there are over 1000 people attend. And believe it or not, it is a pre-packaged communion set. How cool is that.

Went golfing the other day, with the Camry that we rented. Because some senior rented it for us, it is so cheap! Only 28 dollars for 3 days! :) We went church in the morning, then played a while of musics until about 3 pm only went for golf. After golf, went for a steak buffet dinner. After dinner, went for pool at a bowling alley. I cant bowl because of some personal reason... therefore we did not do bowling. Too bad!!
Nice Toyata Camry! Felt in love with it!
Best burger in the world!! Woooot! Carl's Jr..
Hahaha.. Cortney love to take photos of hands..

Cortney (Taiwan), Mio (Japanese), Forgotten his name (Korean) and something else (Indonesia).. Multicultural..

Went for Mio's wedding. Cortney was suppose to be the bridesmate but we totally missed her wedding. We thought it should only take about 2 hours max to reach but who knows, it took us 3 hours one waY!!! Nevertheless, we get to spend some quality time with her in a small blue church and congratulates her. It was a fun day! Went for karaoke at a friend's house after the 6 hours drive.
International Olympics 2-3 weeks ago, where i played doubles in table tennis. We got runner-up!! BUt i am so not happy.. Cause there's only 2 teams playing.. hahaha!
My new OSU tie! Pretty cool.
The desperation for Msian food emerged and this is a great anticeptics.
New poster for my room!
Bought a capo, Picks holder and a guitar stand ! :)

My new decorations for my room.
Back to school. Should have post this long time ago. Anyway, enjoy and hopefully more to come! Check out some awesome photos on facebook. My friend had a EOS so all the photos should be great! :)
