My Easter Day!

As was said previously, i will be going to Curt's parents house for lunch for Easter! So, we went to church early today for the 8.30 am service and when we arrive, it was already packed with people. Praise the Lord. There're special performance by the choir team which was really awesome. Good music and singers.

Then Curt needed to teach Sunday school so i followed him to teach some 3rd grader i guess? (roughly 8-12 years old) Some really made an impression on me with their superb mature thinking about Jesus and bible while there are some who plays around and disturb the other kids. But they're all soooo adorable!

At around 11am , we finally got ready to head to a small town near Tulsa named Jenks (pronounced as Jings) where Curt family basically lives there.

When we reach, he showed me the house that his parents are building now. (yes, they did, literally build the house themselve. Unless it requires huge machineries, his dad will just do it on himselve which i think is so cool.)

It was build on a 2.5 acre of land! Could you imagine that? Seeing is believing... So,

Mansion in the progress..

Curt's 6 footer and look how small he is comparison to the house... urm... living room to be precise.
We're right on top of the house! it was pretty creepy looking down directly. Definately not for people who cant stand height! :P

Then, we went to his Grandparents place (another huge and nice house) to have our lunch along with all his relatives. His grandpa (called "pa pa") and grandma (called "mi mi") are so friendly and nice and caring and loving. I called them just like how their family called them! haha. Oh ya, btw their family are all sooooo huge! Like everyone of them are at least 6 footer except the ladies.. The meal was so delicious (make me drool whenever i think of it) but didnt manage to take any pictures cause didnt want to embarass myself and Curt! haha.
The entrance to his grandparent's house
The house from the side view
The modified engine of Curt's racing car which he used to use for drag racing when he was in high school. Pretty neat stuff here.. LOL
After the meal, we chit chat, watch tv (the Masters Golf) and just hang around. It was really a great time spend with them. I felt so homely when i was with them. The caring-ness and loving-ness of them made me miss my family so much... Awwww...

Then at 3pm we decided to leave "Pa Pa" and "Mi Mi" place and get over to his dad's working garage to get some stuffs and head back to Stillwater. This is "pa pa" and "Mi mi" right before i left their home! "Pa Pa" trying to act cool! :) They're so loving and nice... Missing them now.. LOL
Curt's dad is a genius! He owns a plane, he has his own business, he builds houses on his own and stuffs. He basically can build anything that he wants from what he has in the garage! And the best part was, he loves hunting. The garage that he has have all the animals that he ever hunted hanging on the walls. Gooose, 6 ft long fish, wild Pig, deers etc etc etc. Didnt manage to get a photo of it thou :(
Yup! It's a real shot gun! It's heavy man! With the Oklahoma Cowboy hat taken in the garage.. Wooot! :)
Cool boat just behind of the garage.
Because of his father, Curt's brother , Matt has his own shot gun when he was....a kid? Not sure how old but he started hunting when he was 10?? or younger! LOL.

Well, they re a pretty special/interesting family. I enjoyed going around and look at all the weird stuffs / cool stuffs that they does!! It was superb!
After hanging around at the garage for some time , Curt and i decided to take a move from his home and go have a mini tour around the town before we head home. We came to his high school and saw a huge football stadium (American high school has gym, swimming pools, stadium at the least) and believe it or not, it was named after his Grandpa! !! Isnt that cool? Because his grandpa has been serving the community for over 30 years and been the principal of the high school for a long duration. It is amazing man!!

After the tour, we head right out to the highway and headed home. It was raining the entire day since saturday night and it is a little chilly out there right now.

Taken right before we left the garage with Curt's Dad and Mom! He's a Huge man and they're such a nice and beautiful couple.

What a wonderful and fruitful trip. Thanks to Curt and his wonderful family... :)

Happy Easter to everybody!
