TAMA Rockstar Drum

Just got back from Oklahoma City because we went there to buy a set of drums!!! :) How awesome is that? Bought a used TAMA Rockstar drum, with Zildjian cymbals for $661.75. Paid by Malaysian Student Society because we will be needing it for our graduation banquet band. :)

Had 2 meals at Banana Island (Malaysian Restaurant at OKC) today. Ate Hainanese Chicken Rice, Beef Rendang with Rice, Beef soup, curry stingray, and WAT TAN HO!!! Soooo good. Cant wait to get back to Msia... hehehee...

Btw more pictures will be up tomorrow on the drum when i set it up. Prepare to be blown away!! For now, HOMEWORK!!!!

Malaysia Delegates in OSU

Today, some Malaysia's delegates (from Selangor) came to visit Oklahoma State University.
Edward Ling (edwardling.blogspot.com), political secretary for Hannah Yeoh (hannahyeoh.blogspot.com), Boon Kia Meng, Parliamentary Affairs and Research Officer for DAP and Adriene Leong, Policy Advisor to YB Teresa Kok are 3 of those who came.

Malaysian students went and met up with them. I was particularly interested in talking to Edward Ling because ironically I emailed him and Hannah a long time ago expressing my interest in joining DAP. We talked for some time about the situations in Malaysia and it is inspiring to know the movements that they are working on to get more younger Malaysian to vote and instill change to our government. Took some pictures with them too as we went for a tour around campus.

By the way, I was elected to be the President of Malaysian Student Society (MSS) this coming academic year (2010-2011) :)

Big Food of the Day

Consisted of 9 layers of not sure what is it (either turkey meat, ham or Bologna) and 3 layers of American cheese. This is the sandwich that was given out by the College Of Engineering today! :) Wicked!!!
