Finals Coming!

Yup! The time of the year when college students are preparing for finals! Woohoo.. lol

Been busy the past week trying to wrap up all the final homeworks and tests! So it is kind of a relief for this weekend and just chilling around with friends on Friday and went for some community service this morning (saturday)..

There were suppose to be 12 of us but ended up only 9 person from our group showed up! And... i was the only guy with 8 girls!!!! haha. Good side is : i have all the girls for the few hours at least but the bad side is: i needa do all the work that a guy suppose to do..

We went to our first assignment destination to clean up the yard of a 80 years old lady who stayed alone. Unfortunately, we didnt get to meet her in person. She probably has gone out when we went there. So we just scrap the leaves and cut the hedges. Bet she'll be really happy to see it when she's back! haha..

Then we splitted into 2 groups of 4 and 5 into the second assignment and i was paired with... well... with another 3 girls...! But they're all cool :) We went to a medical office and clean up the landscape and stuffs. Dont understand why he needs us to do it since he own the entire office he probably could hire people to do it! So our purpose of helping disabled or old people is defeated!

Anyway we are done by 1pm and i was freaking tired! (cause i did things that are supposed to be done by a few guys...? ) LOL and to make it worst i didnt had breakast before i went! Almost fainted a few steps before i reach for the free pizza that was provided! :P

My small group for the community service today..

Went out hang out with my friend for couple of hours after i got done with the job and lie down straight on the bed! like a dead fish! At 6 pm, Malaysia Student Society president called and ask us to get prepared, she's coming to fetch us for BBQ at one of our friend's house! Deng it! The BBQ session was fun thou! Had lots of food and really enjoyed it!

That was me behind! haha
The son of one of our senior here. Cute little one..

This is us preparing the food.

The weather these days been pretty awesome! It was like 97 F (34 C) on Thursday without wind! It definately feels like Malaysia except that you wouldnt sweat as much cause it is dry heat here. Next week will be study week before final exam. I'll be having 5 finals this time and i 'll be so dead! Hope i could live through it and make good grades!

Anyway, my brother in law just bought my sis a mercedes benz ( C or E class)! She's like so happy now cause she's been walking to work for the past few months before she got the car. Pity her! But well, at least you get to drive big car now!! hehehe. Happy for ya sis!

For my younger bro! He just got his new nickname that he used in his college that is..... Felix! Wooot! hahahaha..Felix Saw! Pretty cool name huh? and also he obtained full scholarship including text book to study A level in a college somewhere...in ....KL? lol. Ooops!

While my elder bro is enjoying his work as a doctor now because his senior really treat him very well unlike the previous department that he was posted to. Happy for you bro! We're all so blessed to have these things that we never deserve to have! :0 Love you guys lots!

And for my parents and grandma, they're living a happy and stress-free life back in Malaysia. Mom had a facebook account!! Hope she doesnt stalk on me all the time on facebook! haha. As for my dad, he had a msn account where he can chat with me online or webcam sometimes! hehehe. Getting more "IN" as in "trendy" already my parents!

Anyway, hope i'll have some interesting story to talk about and some cool photos to post on my blog sometime soon... probably after my finals! All the best to everyone who's having their finals! God bless people! -Peace out-

Friday Night Fever

It is again, FRIDAY! I had my induction ceremony today into Tau Sigma Honor Society. It is an honor society for students who transfered from other college/university and obtained a 3.50 GPA and above on their first semester. There really nothing so special about this until i saw one of my golfing buddy,(i think i blog about him before cause he is the one who first brought me to Lakeside Golf Club and i taught him to play golf when i first came to US!) Justin to be the keynote speaker for the day!!! I was so excited to see him there. Normally i see him so casually but today he is all dressed up!! And guess what...? His resume, when being introduced by the Coordinator of Tau Sigma shocked me!

Here it goes:
Former student council of OSU
Youngest ever city council
Featured in one of the famous movie
Professional Saxophone player
One of Obama's campaign helper ( as in like coordinator)
He is currently writing a book
etc etc etc i just dont remember everything!!

I was stunned when i heard it. He is so so humble all the time and i didnt know he is such an important person in OSU! MAN...

Anyway, was glad and proud of him man. His speech was so inspirational too! I was aspired by his speech seriously!

Prapta, who's one of Halliburton's scholar as well. He's from Indonesia!

Justin and I !

Berlagak je..LOL

hahahah
Us doing the pistol Pete (our school mascot) sign!

So, didnt did much after that ceremony. Was just chilling at home. Was suppose to go to church today but didnt do so cause was so lazy and tired. So i texted a couple of my friend and asked if they wanted to go for dinner and one of my groupmate/buddy called me to go chill at his house and for some food. He always complained that i never had spend time chilling with him other than lunch after class every Monday and Friday! LOL. So he took me to his house at 7pm and his house was great! He has another 3 roommates which i knew too. We went skate boarding (this is my first time) on his long board. It is slighty longer than the normal skate board and it is much smoother than a skate board. Then, we slacklined. Then had some bbq-ed hotdogs and just chill at his house. Playing some guitar and drum. Then, 2 of his friend needed to go get something so they left and the house was left with me, Jacob (my buddy/groupmate) and Chris (Jacob's housemate) and we decided to JAM!!! Me on the drum, and both of them on the electric guitar! We closed the door and jamed for like an hour! It was soooo fun! Cant wait to have another jam session with them again. LOL.

Then, we watch the movie Zoolander because it is about KILLING MALAYSIA'S PRIME MINISTER! What the heck!! It was sooo funny and at the same time insulting at some part. haha. BUt still it is fun.

Then befor going back we slacklined a little while again and chit chat before Jacob brought me home at 2am! LOL. It was so fun. Cant wait for another session with these guys but finals coming really soon! Another 2 more weeks to go and i am done with school for this semester! Woohoo! Will be resting for 1 week till maybe 16th where i'll be moving to Duncan, Oklahoma to start my internship on the 18th and will be done with work and training on 14th of August . Will be moving back probably on 15th or 16th and Fall semester started right on 17th of August! Isnt it awesome???! (sardonically/sarcastically) lol

Jacob on his Drum before i took over!!! LOL
Chris Jamming! (That's their music room! There're like 4 electric guitars and 3 accoustics, a keyboard, a drum, 2 amplifier....at least that was what i remember)
This is slacklining! I finally get to get up on my own after trying for hours. It's not as easy as it looks really.

Anyway, next week's gonna be a rough week again for me cause will be having some tests and homeworks before dead week(the week before finals). So wish me luck and also All the best to everyone who are having their final exams! Let us ace our exams and do it with all our heart and to Glorify our Lord the God! :)

P/s Miss and love Dad, Mom, bros and sis. Will always keep you guys in my prayer! :)

My Easter Day!

As was said previously, i will be going to Curt's parents house for lunch for Easter! So, we went to church early today for the 8.30 am service and when we arrive, it was already packed with people. Praise the Lord. There're special performance by the choir team which was really awesome. Good music and singers.

Then Curt needed to teach Sunday school so i followed him to teach some 3rd grader i guess? (roughly 8-12 years old) Some really made an impression on me with their superb mature thinking about Jesus and bible while there are some who plays around and disturb the other kids. But they're all soooo adorable!

At around 11am , we finally got ready to head to a small town near Tulsa named Jenks (pronounced as Jings) where Curt family basically lives there.

When we reach, he showed me the house that his parents are building now. (yes, they did, literally build the house themselve. Unless it requires huge machineries, his dad will just do it on himselve which i think is so cool.)

It was build on a 2.5 acre of land! Could you imagine that? Seeing is believing... So,

Mansion in the progress..

Curt's 6 footer and look how small he is comparison to the house... urm... living room to be precise.
We're right on top of the house! it was pretty creepy looking down directly. Definately not for people who cant stand height! :P

Then, we went to his Grandparents place (another huge and nice house) to have our lunch along with all his relatives. His grandpa (called "pa pa") and grandma (called "mi mi") are so friendly and nice and caring and loving. I called them just like how their family called them! haha. Oh ya, btw their family are all sooooo huge! Like everyone of them are at least 6 footer except the ladies.. The meal was so delicious (make me drool whenever i think of it) but didnt manage to take any pictures cause didnt want to embarass myself and Curt! haha.
The entrance to his grandparent's house
The house from the side view
The modified engine of Curt's racing car which he used to use for drag racing when he was in high school. Pretty neat stuff here.. LOL
After the meal, we chit chat, watch tv (the Masters Golf) and just hang around. It was really a great time spend with them. I felt so homely when i was with them. The caring-ness and loving-ness of them made me miss my family so much... Awwww...

Then at 3pm we decided to leave "Pa Pa" and "Mi Mi" place and get over to his dad's working garage to get some stuffs and head back to Stillwater. This is "pa pa" and "Mi mi" right before i left their home! "Pa Pa" trying to act cool! :) They're so loving and nice... Missing them now.. LOL
Curt's dad is a genius! He owns a plane, he has his own business, he builds houses on his own and stuffs. He basically can build anything that he wants from what he has in the garage! And the best part was, he loves hunting. The garage that he has have all the animals that he ever hunted hanging on the walls. Gooose, 6 ft long fish, wild Pig, deers etc etc etc. Didnt manage to get a photo of it thou :(
Yup! It's a real shot gun! It's heavy man! With the Oklahoma Cowboy hat taken in the garage.. Wooot! :)
Cool boat just behind of the garage.
Because of his father, Curt's brother , Matt has his own shot gun when he was....a kid? Not sure how old but he started hunting when he was 10?? or younger! LOL.

Well, they re a pretty special/interesting family. I enjoyed going around and look at all the weird stuffs / cool stuffs that they does!! It was superb!
After hanging around at the garage for some time , Curt and i decided to take a move from his home and go have a mini tour around the town before we head home. We came to his high school and saw a huge football stadium (American high school has gym, swimming pools, stadium at the least) and believe it or not, it was named after his Grandpa! !! Isnt that cool? Because his grandpa has been serving the community for over 30 years and been the principal of the high school for a long duration. It is amazing man!!

After the tour, we head right out to the highway and headed home. It was raining the entire day since saturday night and it is a little chilly out there right now.

Taken right before we left the garage with Curt's Dad and Mom! He's a Huge man and they're such a nice and beautiful couple.

What a wonderful and fruitful trip. Thanks to Curt and his wonderful family... :)

Happy Easter to everybody!

Easter Day!!

So the screw-it week was finally over and i get to have one week of "honeymoon" week! woohoo..
And this weekend is a really special and meaningful weekend. It is Easter weekend! Friday was called "Good Friday" which signifies the crucification (as in hanging on the cross) of Jesus Christ! He died on the cross for the sins of all His creation and risen on the third day. The Father in heaven sends him to cleanse our sins and to forgive us and gave us the oppurtunity to receive Him in our life.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Everyone in this world have the right to receive him. It is a gift from God to us, to receive salvation. He is there to help us and guide us. He is there to lift up our burden and listen to us. He is our Lord the God who is forever living.

There are 3 loves that we will have in our life. But none of these are greater than God's love.

(1) Parents love - No doubt that parents are the greatest living being in the world that care and loves us with all their heart. But no matter how much they loves us, there is always a day when they have to leave us. Parents love are not eternal.

(2)Love of a spouse - When God created Adam, He made Eve from the bones and fleshes of Adam. That is why there is "men" in "Women" LOL. When a men and women unites, they become one. However, love is patient, love is kind. How many broken relationships has we ever witnesses in our life. Divorces are heard everywhere. Of course, God ask us to love our spouse and to honor God with their relationship. But the point is, it is hard to predict the love of a spouse! LOL

(3) Friends love - Of course friends are a essential part of a person's life. However, friends come and go. Good friend stays with you through hard times while not-so-good friend will not. They wont be there when you need them unless you have something to offer them. That is how this world ( at least majority) has become. Even a good friend wont have eternal life to love you and be with you forever.

God's love is eternal, patient. No doubt that God has wrath. It is because He loves us just like how our parents scold us when we do something wrong. The worst thing to happen is not when God wrath but when God abandon us.

Micah 7:18
Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity And passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in unchanging love.

Tomorrow is Easter Day. The day when God resurrected from the dead. When he says that He can destroy the temple and build it in 3 days, He actually meant He himself. Amen! God has risen and He is back with the Father in the kingdom of heaven!! Wooohoo! Let us rejoice and have faith in HIm. When we confront Him one day, let Him praises us for being a faithful servant of His. That is the best thing that could ever happen! Amen to the Lord!

When Jesus was put on the cross, there are two other criminals who were hung beside Him. One of them defy Jesus while another, shown faith in Jesus. Because he trust Jesus , even when Jesus was hung on the cross shows how much faith he has for Jesus and therefore, at that moment, HE WAS SAVED!

Luke 23:41-43
23:41 And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing wrong.” 23:42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingdom.” 23:43 And Jesus said to him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.”
